Check your typing speed with our FREE Typing Test software for Windows.
This is a limited feature Typing Test similar to the online test, but is a downloadable program that you can install on your computer.

Test typing skills among your family and friends, or show off your own typing speed! Download the FREE Typing Test below!

This program will run on any Windows computer (Win95/98/ME/2000/XP/etc), when the download begins you will be prompted to accept the Installshield wizard, click YES to accept. You will then have the choice to install the application immediately, or download it to your hard drive first. Once the download and installation is complete, you can run the Typing Test program from the Windows START menu under Learn2Type/TypingTest.

(note: this application does NOT provide Typing lessons, only limited Typing Tests)

In the Typing Test program, press the Click to Begin button to start the test. Type the displayed exercise into the text area, and click the button when you have finished. Your typing speed and performance evaluation will be displayed in the Evaluation area. You can change the exercise content by clicking the Different Text button.
